Fruit medium to large, round to conic. Skin base color greenish yellow washed pinkish red, with broken red stripes on sunny side with small light lenticels. Stem medium length and thick, set in a deep narrow russeted cavity.

Origins: First documented in the late 1790s, being grown by Caleb Ralls in Amherst County, Virginia. Concerning the origin of the Ralls Janet it is believed it originated as a seedling on the farm of Caleb Ralls or somewhere nearby and was named Janet by him.
