Fruit large, round slighly conic, yellow covered mostly red with russeting, Fined Flavored, Sweet, Crisp, Juicy. Ripe August to September. Originated by a roadside in south Alabama around 1945 where a road crew took notice of this fine flavored and attractive apple. This apple was brought to everyone's attention by the late Joyce Neighbors of Gadsden, Alabama. Ripe August-September
