Fruit medium size, round slightly conical, greenish-yellow skin with red striping becoming pronouced on the sunny side. Mildly Sweet, Crisp, Juicy, doesn't keep long. Originated mid 1800's in Salem, New Jersey later becoming a southern favorite of late 1800's being offered by nursery's in the south. Ripe July.
